Here is hoping you have good weather and a great time. Wish I could be there, would rather be there but daughters wedding I am told comes first.

Remembering back: If they haven't fixed the water spigot, you'll need to bring some water with you or fill up at the other campground. (There were no plans to fix the spigot last year; so, it may still be broken.)

Bummer. Slow, I won't be able to make it this year. Hope all of those who attend, have a great time. Right now, the weather here is too hot, gas is too expensive, the food-stamps have been cancelled, no retirement checks have arrived lately, and my holding the "Please help, Army veteran needs food for my kids" signs at off ramps, have not generated enough cash. Mc Donalds wages just won't cut it and bumming at gas stations almost got me arrested.

Perhaps next year will be more profitable, gas prices will be lower, and the trip to Wyoming will be all down hill, from So Calif, promoting better gas milage. If all goes well, since 50 percent of travelers are on the public dole, (of which I have been told I don't qualify,) maybe next year, with some help from some new generous governnment travel vouchers, I'll save em up or trade them in and make it to Walk the Winds. All tongue in cheek, Buddy, and I hope all goes well, and perhaps if gas prices drop and my food stamp and unemployment request is renewed, I hope to attend with bells on. Have fun, take pics, and post 'em. Please, no donations will be accepted......... whew.
:? Roly.........the grouchy old codger on the West Coast... only 20 or 25 more years to go, and counting.

I too will unfortunately have to miss Walk the Winds this year. I found out I had throat cancer last April and have been going thru tests and treatments since then. Was hoping to be better by now but still have radiation treatments every day. Prognosis looks good so maybe next year... Ya'll have a great time and be safe.....

Terry,

Hope you can beat it!

Rob
Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...
