I recieved my copy last week. The wife and I sat down and watched it the other night. She hasn't been into my build too much but I think the film ansawered some questions she had and is a little more enthused about it.
Congrats on a fine addition to the Tear Drop world, :applause:

@ Cliff - thanks! It is a pretty cool development.

@ David - I'm glad you liked the teardrop film. I'm also glad it helped generate some enthusiasm for your project!

Great polishing by the way. It looks great.

Just a quick update:

Major donor stepped in and I've sent the teardrop film to 147 schools! There are thousands more but this is an encouraging sign.

We just watched this a while ago and I just wanted to say how awesome it was.

This'll definitely be a repeat-watch for awhile.

RV crazy had a little blurb about TDs.

This whole production is about TDs.
Its great!

<edit> Mark, we're the type that watches the credits and couldn't help but notice a little Seinfeld inspired easter-egg in there...

... keep up the great work!

Joshua- Congrats on being the second person to find one of the many Easter eggs in the film.

Geeks will do what geeks do!

I'm very happy to hear that you liked it.

I want to offer my many thanks to this awesome community of thinkers, tinkerers, fellow geeks, and outdoor enthusiasts for supporting the "Historic Camping & Teardrop Trailer" film. :applause:

Storenvy.com (http://www.storenvy.com/markets/20-behind-the-lens) just ranked the film as their best selling DVD/Blu-ray in the history of the company. The CEO of the company called me today and we talked for about 30 min. Apparently, this project is breaking their business model! ha ha. Their target demographic is college age & early 20s. This film spans many more years than that and it is doing well.

Congrats to this community who makes a business rethink its purpose!

Update: I have sent free copies of the film to 167 schools (public & private) and 1 home-school group. It is being used in classrooms in New Zealand, South Korea, England, Czech Republic, United States and Canada. PLUS, I know a number of campers who are liking it as well ;)

Truely, it is mind blowing to be part of something that has developed a life of its own. Frankenfilm lives!

Cheers

Thanks Cliff.

I am profiting by having fun.

The financial "gains" for this project are going to send copies to schools and to fund similar films like this one.

I'm a teacher, money isn't the point. It is the fun & education that matters to me.

The film was just mentioned in the August 2013 version of Cool Tears and Tiny Campers magazine.
