Photos in photo albums

I'm sure that someone has already asked this question but I've read through the Post Pictures site and Using The Forum site and cannot seem to find it, so here goes.

When I am looking at someone elses photo album and there are no captions posted with the picture, there are sometimes pictures that have obviously been posted in answer to a particular forum. A picture of dutch oven cooking equipment or some funny looking part that I cannot identify, some wiring with fingers pointing, etc. Is there any way that I can find out what posts those pictures are tied to? I know it's reverse engineering as the pictures are first put into the album and then tied to the forum but there are some very interesting pictures with no captions that would be nice to track down and see what was actually being talked about then they were placed in the album.

The fastest way that I know of to find the post is to copy the image number that is in the picture file address. This number is a unique number assigned to all photos downloaded to this forum. You then put that number in the forum search field, Do not use the Google search field. This should bring up any post that the photo has been used in.

I do not know anything about the program that runs this forum, but I think it would be possible to put a simple post search function on the individual image page. This would make searching faster, maybe if Mike sees this post he can look into it.
