I would like to get the wife hooked on the idea of a teardrop, we are tired of the pop-up tent camping...What better way than to see some in person.....

Next weekend there will be about 21to 22 teardrops at Crawford State Park.
Come on down in your pop-up and join us. We will be in the group area. They let us double up and sometimes triple up in each spot.
We will have a group breakfast Saturday morning and a pot luck Saturday night.

He is an administrator of a site called KAMO. This stands for Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma. It is a group of like minded TD folks who camp a lot.
There are quite a few members of this group from Kansas with several being from Kansas City.

South out of Fort Scott on 69 then Highway 7 toward Girard. about half way between the two will be Crawford. Since it is a state park a day permit is required even if you just want to look around. $5 or less.
If you go down to the Groups and Gatherings portion of this site under the NorthCentral section, look for the Crawford 2012 thread and there will be links to folks photos from last year. Look toward the latest 3 or 4 pages if you don't want to read about everyones meal plans.

Welcome to the forum from another MO small town. We're practically neighbors as we're in Rayville. You at least have a sign on I-70 we're in the middle of no where Ray county. From your name and the pic it looks like you might be looking at building your trailer and there be a few home builts at Crawford so come on down to visit if not to camp. Looking forward to making your acquaintance and camping with you some day.
