Picture posting experiment

Postby Vedette » Tue Nov 19, 2013 8:23 pm

Don't get excited.
I am just experimenting with an easier less complicated way to instal pictures into a post like I do on the SDC Forum.
Didn't work.....got the old " The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 256 KiB." message popping up???

To avoid the "file to big" issue... Select a picture hosting service like Photobucket or Flickr or one of the many other graphics hosting sites and simply supply a link to picture in your text... The avoids all the "storage size" issues of any particular forum software/restraints...

faq.php?mode=bbcode#f5r0

This also cuts down on managing many graphic on many different sites as most sites allow this display concept (linking) and all your pictures are in your person online "library"...
