GPS users recommendations ?

Garmin is my fav as well. I've owned from several manufacturers, but gamin has always been the standard by which I compare...

Now, for city travel, I like waze....runs on smart phone. But I am concerned about them, as google (in the bed with NSA) recently bought them...

You probably should get over it or ditch all the technology and live under a rock.... Anybody in government can reach out and find you no matter what company (Google, AT&T, Verizon, etc.) you are using for phone manufacturer or service....

It's sort of funny as a comment by books lead character in a book I just read and it goes like this "the government 30 years ago wanted to put a tag on every person so they could be located any time, but the public would be so enraged at the thought the government didn't do it, they waited, people did it to themselves for the government by getting cell phones"...
