Typical mix of comments...some good, some bad, some uneducated.

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

I like the one comment

" Doesn't that defeat the purpose of camping? "
I guess it does when half the campers\I see at the campground spend 2 hours parking and leveling, another hour setting up the SAT dish, then they all run inside to watch TV :R
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

My wife spends about a half hour setting up and 5 minutes setting my sat dish so I can watch the races outside in my side room. How long does it take you to set up complete? How's that saying go? To each his own the way they like to camp. Not everyone wants to build a top heavy sleeper trailer just so they can go off roading with it.

P.S. My new trailer has the same setup. (it does have sides that just hook to the awning)

to each his own, but dragging a giant expensive box out into a parking lot with campfires doesn't apeal to me.
I consider a waterside spot I have to paddle or row into camping.
My wife endures those trips, the tear allows us to travel and stay places we couldn't afford to go otherwise. I think she would like a standy with a shower and potty better (foamie plans  ) however she also looks forward to the campfires, picnic table dining, lack of internet, boating, biking, and everything else outdoors. A megaRV doesn't appeal

My thought, is that it is easy to tow, easy to park, easy to set up, can be parked in a cheap campsite, I don't need a class #1 to tow, I don't have to pay storage for it all winter, it is cheap to licence , cheap to insure, attracts a whole lot more attention than my old "Motorhome" and it still feels like camping in a tent....except for when it rains and when we arrive at our appointed destination at 11:00 pm.
God I Love Our New TEARDROP!!!!!

Thought it looked familiar :D

Ours gets way less comments I think because it looks so "normal" except for the "does it go UP?"
Had one couple who saw it in a KOA and asked if it was a Cricket which showed a good bit of awareness of teardrop models, just the wrong hopper.

Those big 5th wheels are larger than some apartments I've lived in. To each his/her own, I say, and it's as ridiculous for them to criticize me as it is for me to criticize them.
