What's this RV accessory called?

Postby eggsalad » Sat Feb 15, 2014 2:57 pm

I've seen it on RVs, often with a car in tow. It goes across the full width of the back. It's something like a mud flap, but rather than solid rubber, it has bristles, sort of like a broom. I think I might like one for the back of my TTT. Problem is, since I have no idea what it's called, I don't know if I will find it cost-effective.

I bet one of you smart folks knows!

In the trucking industry, they're called, or used to be anyway, a "Hula skirt". Doug

I have heard the bristle ones referred to as 'whiskers', too!
