how can i scale this sketch

[img][img][album][/album][/img][/img]Good evening all i started a build today with scrap timber to see how it all goes together but it hasnt worked
i lost 2 feet of bed space due to my curve i wanted
so im back to the drawing board
ive now done a sketch of what im looking for but i dont know how to turn it into a 8x 4 sheet of ply templete can anybody help me please
i will post a sketch when i can work out how to[album]

Not sure exactly what you are after but if you go to this site..http://www.angib.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/t ... tear00.htm. and click on download profiles you can pick a shape or size and it will lay it out for you in grids....Hope this helps.

I can't see your sketch, but in general here's how, assuming you don't have access to CAD:

Choose a grid scale that works out to relatively even increments
Trace the existing outline onto the grid
Draw the grid at the enlarged scale
Draw each grid square from the sketch onto the enlarged grid
Smooth out the curves with either a long-arm compass, or a flexible curve
Trace the resulting profile onto your plywood.

Did you think of raising the bed and putting the storage under the floor? That'll get you the floor length you want without changing the profile.
