I don't know how many tubes of adhesive I squeezed on my built last summer but I'm tired of $4.99 junker caulk guns. I'm looking for a good 25 oz gun.
Anybody got one they swear by?
Thanks,
Tony

It will permit you to cut a very small opening at the tube tip for precise control. You can't do that by hand. The Makita has more pressure than most any other gun and can do it all day long.

rowerwet wrote:same here, ^ only mine is also made with a ring that you put the tip of the tube into instead of a U shaped end, http://www.factsfacts.com/MyHomeRepair/ ... ingGun.jpg the end is held by a "beam" on the top and bottom, no matter how much force you put on it, it can't deform. They had these at HD for a while, since then they've gone to a design with the beams running down each side and an open slot at the top. Those stamped, spot welded cheapies end up in my scrap metal bin.

Slow: Do they make them for the large 28 ounce tubes? You save a lot of money by buying the big tubes.
