Wow,I suggest that he consider carrying a lead umbrella around, in case of an impending meteor impact. Does he actually expect to experience such a rare oceanic event, where he lives? Is there any record of it ever happening in the past? Good luck on his survival efforts, and if it happens to float by, perhaps I can catch a ride in it, if it ever reaches So Calif. My efforts for survival consist of a well-stocked teardrop, ready to roll in the event of the ultimate catistrophic earthquake, such as happened about 20 years ago. Long live the well prepared, weather on land or next to that treatening ocean disaster. Oh, and by the way, that build looks great.

It is complex, and may be a long shot for ever having the need, but if you have the ability and money, why not build cool things.
Good exercise for the mind! :applause:
