Lovely old trailer

Postby mallymal » Fri May 16, 2014 8:18 am

I was staying near Lake Windemere in England in a village called Grasmere, where Wordsworth lived.

Going for a walk one day I passed a small hotel, and look what they had in their grounds

Not exactly a teardrop, but thought you might like to see...

I agree, very lovely. It looks like it could be fairly new?

It's a Showman's Living Van, a category of UK caravan

Google results:
https://www.google.com/#q=showman's+van
Link to some Google images:
https://www.google.com/search?q=showman ... 80&bih=622
A website on them with more pics:

Nice little homes on wheels for those who traveled for a livlihood
in the past and they continue on today.

Cheers,

With all those clerestory windows, it has to be nice and bright inside.

Ah, my favorite style, the trolley top. However, mine is only 6 ft long.
