I finally finished the last steps to make my teardrop campable about midnight last night.

The first trip will begin this afternoon with a trip back to the Maryland mountains to a high school reunion and a trout fishing trip. The first night will be on the road at some camp ground in central Virginia and then Friday and Saturday nights at New Germany State Park in Grantsville, Md. After that, I am headed over to the Smoke Hole Caverns area in West Virginia for a little fishing trip with a group of old friends from my working days. I have looked forward to a lot of camping trips over the years, but never quite as much as this one. Pictures will follow if I can manage to figure out how to post them.
What is the conventional wisdom on how to clean and protect the mill finish aluminum skin on the roof and hatch? I am wondering if a regular car polish and wax will do the trick.
