Camping-Maiden Voyage

Postby mrwall1 » Thu Jul 03, 2014 2:17 pm

So, we are getting ready to go on our first little 4 day trip in 2 weeks... ..(Hopefully I can finish enough to take it on the road by then!!) . Probably Baker Lake in Northern Washington, we got the kayaks, got the bicycles ready... been a while since we have gone camping... What do you take with you.... We have basic kitchen stuff.... found the fishing gear.... a cribbage board.... found the Lantern...

Have a great trip. Take everything you think you will need and then after a few trips, start taking out the things you never used.

Must haves...Stove, something to wash dishes in, chairs, rain gear, Hatchet or axe, bug spray, shelter (if you stay a few nights at a time) Flashlight,

You can do without most anything for 4 days. My biggest gripe with other campers is all the technology they drag along. Leave the tv at home. Turn off the cell. Just concentrate on the family fun.
