Spotted a fellow TD'er while visiting the Wild Center in Tupper, NY.

Unfortunately we were unable to connect with the owners. They have Arizona plates, so it seems that they are having a great time, a long way from home!

Yes. It appeared to be fiberglass and epoxy over stained plywood. The highlighted scroll work was actually twisted hemp rope (I assume that it was epoxied on), with black on the lower sections.

The windows appear to be from a PU bed topper, and if you look at the post that Sharon made (link in link) you can see that the curb side section slides out. Looked to be a full standy, as the tongue and hitch were very low.

We met them at the IRG in 2012. A very nice couple and they do get around!

Aw you beat me to it. It's a western teardrop/standy alright. I met them at Lake Perris a couple of years ago.

The one at IRG in 2012 is not the one that they are pulling now. They liked that one so much that they built a new one, incorporating things that they had missed having in the first one. So, this new one is even better! You can see the new one here: http://www.jonweinberg.com/DamGathering2013/ Scroll down just a bit. They live full time in their trailer.

:D Yes, indeed, they are a wonderful couple! Charles, owner and builder, left me an informational sheet detailing the L'escargot Camper 1.0 and 2.0, and the one pictured is the 2.0 version.
