Your first time there?
We have been out there a few times but only camped there once, two years ago Thanksgiving. Drove through in our Toyota in the middle of July, just to be able to say we did, and I rode my motorcycle through in June a few years ago. I was actually quite surprised to see other motorcyclists there at that time. The week we were there during Thanksgiving was great. We had the four wheel drive and camped at a different spot each night. There is so much of Death Valley that is better seen with an overland vehicle. Can't wait to go back.
