Covering my 1/4"plywood tear..

I am planning on using 1/4" ply an want to paint it,,I was giving lots of thought about the cloth an glue..what kind of cloth? Its always been easy for me to test some first an see how to work with it,, but I need to know what to use...

You can use almost any kind of cloth. The most common (and old school) is canvas. You can also use bed sheets from thrift stores. There is a whole lot of information on covering with canvas in the foamie section, as well as a list of sources.

I used cheapo drop cloth canvas from home depot, it takes a lot more paint to fill it and coat it. Thinner fabric will take less paint and give a smoother finish. Either fabric is still tougher than most other coatings people use.
