Temecula is just down hill from where I live, here is sunny California. We got over 5 inches of snow at my place and we are only 1500 feet above sea level. It is a strange thing to see palm trees topped out with a a heavy crown of white snow. I spent over an hour driving all around our complex, checking out the broken tree limbs and overloaded bushes, bending under the weight. A few years ago, when I was just a snot-nosed kid, I used to do donuts in the parking lots in the freshly fallen snow. Now, I just can't get my front-wheel drive car to perform that way, so I had to back up, turn slightly and then punch it in order to get it to do those spin-arounds. I hope no one saw me. Hmmm, are 82 year olds supposed to entertain themselves this way? Absolutely! Age is just a number and I guess I'm still as foolish as I was when in high school. I still remember how to drive in the snow, and am enjoying the white stuff, which still has not melted. Looks like no So Cal teardrop camping for a while, but warmer weather has to be on the way.
I wrote my name in the snow in the front yard with the garden hose, and some of the neighbors thought I had done it with urine, and that I couldn't dot the 'I' due to the lack of it.

Roly, still acting young and stupid, but looking kinda old..........Oh well.
