Gosh.. that reminds me of a bike-camping trip I did with a pup-tent in 1980. I was camping in a horribly loud thunderstorm that lasted for hours. I was thinking of trees falling on me and my screams could never be heard. I awoke (kind-of) the next morning to my flooded tent, but it was now bright and sunny. I packed up and rode to the nearest town, found a park and laid everything out to dry. People stopped by asking how much I wanted for my gear($$). HAHAHA..

I responded, it wasn't for sale.. I was trying to dry out from the night before. I have fond memories of those days.
Nowadays, camping in the teardrop is always great.
