Using 3/4'' Electric Conduit on a fiberglass component kit?

Using 3/4'' EMT on a fiberglass component kit?
The manufacturer has suggested that I notch the inside flanges and use 3/4'' Electric Conduit as the roof cross pieces. There reasoning is it will not twist, rot , expand ,cost, not as heavy as wood. what do you think?

Assuming its 3/4" EMT conduit...
Seems like its a feasible choice.
Of course it does expand, but in the distance spanned its hardly measurable. Rot.. It will rust. keep it dry.
Being a round tube its more difficult making structural attachments & springier than a square profile. but good luck to find a similar size square tube of similar weight and cost.

Thanks H.A. I play with some 5 foot pieces they seam very stout . I guess you will have to use pop-rivets as fasteners.
