Thetford toilet with external access

I could never find a retail source for buying one in the USA. G/L as I think they would be great instead of one of the portable models. I did find some on ebay UK.

They would be worth considering if they were available in the states and priced reasonably. I too could get rid of the portable one I will use.

They must be available somewhere in the US. I have seen them used in US built small trailers. Search for "cassette toilet".

Ouch, I can see justifying a lot of dumping portable units because of these costs.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like ebay and international shipping may be the best option.....although very expensive option.

We had a Thetford C4 cassette toilet in our '03 Fleetwood popup. It was really convenient. We never had to wait in line at a dump station. When we got home, just slide the tank out and empty it into the toilet at home. Hose down the tank and you're done. The C4 is no longer made, but if you can find one in an RV Salvage yard, snag it. If I build a TTT, I'll be looking for one.
