I think these expensive "add-ons" are important to highlight. It has been awhile since I purchased them but I believe I have about $1600-1800 in wheels (including rings and caps), whitewall tires, and fenders alone. I don't believe the average teardrop buyer understands what these cost.

It might make sense to sell the extra add-ons separately if they are adding a lot of cost.

Sad to see a slow sale... We all know how much time and costs go into building one! I know when I first saw one, I wanted one, when I saw the cost to buy one the idea flew out of my head... all I could think of was I could get a nice used larger Travel trailer for less... But then I saw Youtube videos of people building them... then found the forums here.... Looking back... I thought I could build one pretty cheap... of course I found out.. even with my simple build it has cost over $3500 and a lot of hours.... of work... and that is not counting all the extras like mattress, Locks, stoves, coolers etc.... also I think financing is an issue, you can go to an RV dealer and walk away with almost any trailer for similar price for under $100 a month... Private sales require cash.....

Good luck! keep us informed on your sale!

I agree with Danny. That stove/sink are pretty much useless and the stove is dangerous. When you have that beautiful curve front end on your teardrop, why do you have a flat wall inside? Seems like your losing a lot of space. It does look nicely built besides that.

If you airplane falls you can't fly!

Your Rig looks Great! We have several builds going on in or around Albuquerque and I have a pal in Md. on his 3rd. Not that any of that matters, I think like a few others on this site "Price" Folks around here seem to think $3000 - $4000 might move it. Good luck

I just noticed the door on the DS is rectangular, but the cutout on the PS side has a curved top. How will that be addressed?

Everyone thinks they can work with wood, and most can do a good enough job to make a functional tear.
Aluminum, especially if structural and/or involving rivets/welding, is beyond most builders and they realize it.

A door on the driver's side only is also a big downside, especially for a 5' wide.

All good questions!
THE DOORS: I originally designed the door frames with nice radiused corners. Later on I discovered that the T molding would jam up against the trailer body when the door is opened. My solution was to cut the frames out square and build new doors to fit. It worked out great....no interference and the doors close nice and solid like a car door. Also, there is now a door on each side with vintage aluminum windows.

THE WALL: I took a sliver of the front and enclosed it with a bulkhead because I wanted an electrical compartment. I stretched the body a few inches to recover the lost space. There's an access port in the front which I haven't cut open yet. Inside the cavity is where all of the electrical wires come together so I think of it as a utility room of sorts. It's supposed to have an aircraft style access cover on the outside when done.

EXTRAS: Thanks to you guys I've been inspired to pounce on this project and get stuff done. I spent some time inside and hung the cabinet doors. Also took it to the local certified weighmaster and it comes in at 1,220 pounds. Whew! no brakes required.

I sure wish I would have found this forum several years ago!

Good choices! And good clarifications!
You are acting like a motivated seller, which should net you a better chance of a sale.
Good Luck
