Hi guys! Sorry about the late reply, but I've been working a lot, and had to take care of a couple other projects that side tracked me from this one. I've read a lot of great advice from everyone, and I very much appreciate everyone's help. However, I'm pretty sure I don't personally like the look of the wiley windows, though I understand many others do. I know I don't want plexiglass windows. I used to have a glass shop near me at our old house that did safety glass fairly inexpensively, but I'll admit now I'm not sure where to go for that or how much it would be. And I'm not all that fond of these crank out styled windows. I am really leaning towards the doors from Vintage Technologies for no other reason than that's the look I like best. I know many of you are going for a classic and traditional look for their camper, but when I imagine how my camper will look I picture it with the VT doors and windows. I think they offer a more contemporary or post-modern, if you will, look to the camper by combining a traditional camper look with modern elements. I am not worried about rain coming in the windows, we can work around that, and I'm not terribly worried about any of the other minor issues I've read about, such as the frame being cold. My only concern is the trim rings offered with the doors from VT. The style of build I want to do would be 3/4" frame with foam insulation, skinned of both sides with 3mm or 1/8" Baltic birch plywood. What I'm worried about is that the plywood is not exactly 1/8" thick, it's slightly thinner. So my finished walls will be just under 1" think. I don't know if the trim rings VT offers standard for 3/4" thick walls will work, or if I have to have them supply custom trim rings. I'll have to call them when I get a chance and ask about the rings and how much custom rings will cost if they are needed. I will admit that their doors seem a little pricey to begin with, so if I need custom rings at an additional cost I may reconsider and go with a more traditional and less expensive door/window design. I'll let everyone know what VT says about the rings when I have a chance to talk to them.

Thanks again for all the help everyone!

For 3/4" wall thickness they are, but for other sizes they charge extra. The walls I'm planning will be just short of 1" thick. I don't know if the included 3/4" trim rings will work, or if I will need a custom size and if so at what cost. I was hoping to have a chance to call about that today, but so far there's been no break here at work. As soon as I find out I'll post that info.

Thanks for the reply, booyah!
