Postby robfisher » Sat Feb 13, 2016 12:32 am

Are you tired of staring out the window sitting around the house and eating too much? Did you know that there is a better way to encourage yourself that spring really is just around the corner? Just a week away you can join others who love to camp in beautiful Southern Idaho at CJ Strike Dam. Only a few hours away from Utah, Nevada and Oregon. Come on, Get out of the house and join us. February 19-21, 2016.

You know you want to! More info at viewtopic.php?f=14&t=65309

Hi Rob
I have been meaning to send out a PNW Tear Jerkers newsletter this last couple of weeks......but have just not gotten to it. :(
Had planned to include a notice of your event in this newsletter (and still do) and even though it may be short notice I still can send the info to all of our members.
What would you like me to send?
Wish Sandi and I could join you, we have not stayed at CJ Strike Dam since 2007........have cute campfire story about our stay there. ;)
Still working on Kermit, with hope of getting it finished for the 2016 Camping season (Sandi says I am delusional)

If we weren't delusional we would never even start our projects so it's not such a bad thing.

Were staying right at the Dam which is Southwest of Mt Home or 5 miles east of Grandview. Campground fees are either $8.00 or $5.00 per day with a $1.00 discount for over seniors 60 and up. Grass, Trees, Fire Rings and Tables plus Nice, clean, restrooms. No showers and no hookups. Everyone is welcome. This is our second annual winter event. Weather looks to be good. Just get out of the house already! We tend to share food but nothing planned. There are museums and desert roads and the fishing has been good for both perch and trout. Paved roads right to the campground.
