I need the whereabouts of a covered bridge (I'm assuming in the Northeast) that I can take a side shot of the TV and Tear about to cross the bridge. This would become my new signature picture, to go with my "burn that bridge" quote. Whaddaya think? Pretty good, huh? Help me out here.

Reading the route with interest, the one described above. Depends on how much time you're spending, but one might consider Crater Lake. Also, some of the best coast in Oregon is the north coast and on down to Florence. Then not so much again until you get down to Bandon. I'm certainly not impressed with Eugene or Roseburg for scenery but getting there is ok. I-5 is the pits anywhere, puts me to sleep.

I am in agreement.......but time will be Brads enemy on this trip.
And Crater Lake is probably Oregon's most precious jewel, but It will still be a little early in the season for Crater. We were there in the middle of July, and the snow was still 4' deep in places in the shade.

It was being restored when we last there in September.

Apparently, Texas has one covered bridge, but it looks like it's on private property, according to the map.

Since I bought a new camera last year, I have struggled with downloading, posting or sending pictures.
They are just too big.

Seems like I have read that Iowa has the most covered bridges. Will have to search that see if I remember correctly.

(Rhetorical question:) How many zigapixels is that new camera of yours? You and I are going to have a little seminar on this when we meet up. Just for starters, the camera should have a setting for the picture size. You can turn that down to something that works, but you will lose detail. Not really a problem with pix for the web, but this setting affects the originals.

I've forgotten. It's either 10 or 30 MB. Never been a problem.
