Has anyone taken their teardrop on a day trip?

Has anyone taken their teardrop along for the sole purpose of using the galley?
We're hosting a picnic at a local state park for the extended family. Having everything already in the galley makes it very tempting to take the teardrop on a day trip.

I have found myself discovering reasons just to pull mine around town.

Why not take it on a day trip. The shady interior might come in handy and I sure the galley will free up some picinic table space.

All the time. It is great for a quick picnic. Everything is there(just add food). Or the galley can be set up as a mini bar with ice and a blender. Great fun.

We take it out the bay, makes it nice for all the same reasons as other have said, ease of cooking, out of the sun, run the AC if the dog gets too hot, don't have to run after the sunshade as the wind takes it down the beach....

I frequently take my TD to the flying field with my radio-controlled airplanes on any given Sunday. I can fit 5 or 6 planes inside the trailer along with an EZ-up and folding chairs. The TD battery and 100 watt solar panel also do duty as a recharging station for the planes. The galley counter top is now the workbench to hold the radios, propellers, tools and small parts that need fixing.
