Fishing from a pedal kayak is the way to go. You can do 10+ miles in a day, hands free. You catch more fish in a quiet watercraft than a noisy power boat.

Yeah, it also helps when battle wind or current. Large muscle groups are stronger and work longer. Can pedal faster than I can paddle, that's for sure.
It is heavy, though.
She's been riding up on the truck rack, and I've been contemplating a roof rack mod for the TD. Hasn't congealed in my mind yet. Both weight (the internal frame is just 2x2's) and leaks are a concern.
I think maybe aluminum rails running fore/aft to spread the load, with butyl tape between them and the roof where I screw into the framing would be a platform for a conventional car top rail/rack system to mount to, and between them gain eno8gh clearance for the roof vent.
