You may be able to do a online and ship to store.. Don't know..
Grabbed Duck cloth and ripstop nylon while I could!

However, if you aren't in a rush and track the coupons, you can catch a good deal. Yesterday I grabbed 6 yards of $12.99/yard fabric that I've been eyeing for a month with a 60% coupon. Now I just have to hurry up and get my MoB dress made by next weekend. (No pressure).

Thank you! I never understood that and wondered. The Gal at Joann didn't know..

Nice! Thank you!
110/18 ought to be good enough. But perhaps one labeled for jeans might help. Generally the staff at a Joann's are sewers (I've always suspected that they work there for the employee discount). When you go into pick up the needles you ordered, ask for suggestions.
I did ask them. The gals there are very willing to help. What I'm doing was beyond what they typically do. Hey, what happens when a Guy shows up in a fabric store I guess.![]()
Make sure everything is working correctly with a lighter weight fabric. You might need to loosen the thread tension for the heavier thread and cotton duck. Also make sure you don't have a lot of lint around the bobbin from previous projects.
Ends up the #110 Leather needle has worked the best! Again thank you for the input!
