Shelly says that even when we get our vaccines, I'm not allowed out of the house until I get our basement cleaned up, so.... :(

This weekend is the official weekend for taking down the christmas decorations. At our house its the weekend after New Years, apparently ( as explained to me last weekend) if New years is adjacent, or during the weekend then it goes to the following weekend. My son turned 15 in oct, so next year he will probably be driving. How they grow up! Seems like just last year we were setting out cookies for santa and carrots for his reindeer.

Tom I found an easy way to handle that problem, the fiance is short and I screwed a dog gate at the top of the steps to stop the dogs from going down there. She cant get over it either.

Today I changed the wear bar on the snowplow. (Why do it when it's warm, eh?)

Probably something you can relate to.

I haven't been doing much. Finished wiring a 3 phase converter for the son's Bridgeport mill. Spent a couple of days last week in the UP of MI visiting with friends.

Waiting for warmer weather to do the small mods to the van.

Me too. Took the mutt for a run on the beach at dusk. (8pm-ish)
Mutt found the only dead seagull on 8 miles of beach and rolled in it.
He couldn't understand why he had to ride in the back of the truck on the way home.

It is quite cold here now. Too cold for me to work outside, even though my trailer is in a tarp tent. I dream about working on it and pretend to be sleeping in it sometimes. Reading build logs now to try and stay sane and learn something.

Restored windmills are nifty but they are REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAALLY awesome when they are actually put to work pumping water as they were designed to do.

Well I get to play with indoor projects, and pop out to the camper and do little things. Like I cut in the rear sink and faucet the other day,and cut in and wired in the 120 v plug in the pantry.

My indoor projects are alot louder when taken out doors... I am not allowed to make them loud in house, besides thats dangerous.

Also based on the beginning of the year so far, read my sig line.
