What a trailer looks like after sleeping in it for 17 years. 400,000 miles on the trailer.

The Canadian geese population there has convinced me a traveler rake is in my future, but I was able to borrow one from the park and cleaned up our site. Awesome sites around the edges (no power/water at site).

Great video! Thank you, we are contemplating a trip there (maybe as a stop on the way to/from Algonquin Provincial Park) this Fall.

Thank you for the geese cleanup warning. Seems to be a situation in several NYS parks we've visited. We will come prepared!

Thanx! I'll also be back up this fall and hope to visit Wellesley Island. Right in Thousand Island with two NY State Parks and a Provincial. You may wish to have a peek there as well!

I'm moving some video's of early travel/exploring the country when we first retired over to my newer YT site. If interested here's our trip out to see the Big Five in Utah. First stop was Colorado National Monument. It was an introduction to what we were about to experience and just loved the place!

Our latest has just published. During June we spent a week in the Gunnison National Forest of Colorado near the Lost Lake. Come along with us as we get dirty in the Gunnison

Part 2 of the Adirondack drive-through.

We drove from Long Point State Park on Lake Ontario into Adirondack Park by way of the Olympic Byway. This takes you through Lake Placid!

Lake Placid had so much construction going on that it was tough moving around.. much to heartbreak.. we moved on.

We hung out at the Ski Jump Center for a bit and watch the younger training! Far less folks there and easy to visit and enjoy. We stopped by Whiteface Mtn before heading to camp at Willington Notch State Campground. The campground was DEC run and decent for overall size and sites. Showerhouse needs some drainage work.. shame because all else was good.

After leaving the Lost Lake area of Colorado we just kinda happened upon the Trail ThroughTime and the Rabbit Valley area. We stayed at the High North Campground, which is a BLM campgound. It is free but you need to register at a kiosk. The days we were there were very enjoyable with hiking and driving some really fun trails and roads.

More of transferring videos over from 2018. This was just an amazing trip for a first-timer from the Nor'east. This was one of the spots that said 'Welcome' and gave us an introduction to what we were about to enjoy.

We decided to stay a full day at Colorado National Monument. It's just that nice a place! Besides we've been pushing a bit to get out here and it's time to slow down!

So much fun seeing for the first time! I will return on another trip in the region!

A friend of mine started a YouTube channel and asked if he could do a walk around of my camper. I told him it wasn’t completely finished, but he said that’s ok as he will come back and film again for some content. He missed a bit of the kitchen, but that’s ok too! Can tell he’s still a bit of a novice, and my bumbling in the video shows I’m not a professional at explaining.

We posted two videos last Friday. They both are from our visit to Capitol Reef National Park in June 2022. The first is our hike to the Hickman Bridge, our drive up the Burr Switchbacks, and our hike to the Strike Valley Overlook. We barely had time to scratch the surface of Capitol Reef's epic scenery. Here is the first day's adventure, enjoy.

And here is the second video. This is our second day where we toured the Cathedral Valley loop trail. We separated this into its own video because the scenery is epic on its own, and we got caught in a flood situation turning a fun day into a terrifying day. Being from the east and never seeing a flash flood we now know just how quickly those dry washes become dangerous.

Continuing on with our summer of 2022 trip. We stopped by Cathedral Gorge State Park in Nevada on our way to California. Beautiful state park and we highly recommend stopping by for an incredible visit.
