Cosmo Weems... RIP

Postby TimC » Wed Nov 23, 2022 10:17 pm

I just learned that Teardrop enthusiast, Cosmo Weems has passed away. I never had the pleasure of meeting Cosmo but we interacted here on TNTTT several times and he brought joy to my heart whenever we happened to chat about teardrops related topics.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

See the announcement I just found here...

Oh man .
Thanks Cosmo for the videos and sharing your tips and tricks with us.
One of my favorites was his winter camping vids.

I am so saddened to hear this news. What a great guy. I had communicated with Cosmo regularly during the time I was building my trailer. He was so giving, helpful and eager to share his experiences and provide info about his Vistabule. I'd often ask him if he could send me a photo of this or that and almost immediately I'd hear back from him with the requested images. His videos were a true testament to his love of nature and the outdoors, his adventurous spirt and his curiosity about how others pursue this camping life we all love. He had a great sense of humor. And what a nice video Bert made.

Sad.

What a loss. Cosmo was such an inspiration to teardroppers and aspiring teardroppers. Modstock, I agree his winter camping videos were awesome. Cosmo and I corresponded about our Propex heaters in our campers, even chatting on the phone with me at one point, and his videos were the ones that got me thinking about being able to winter camp in the first place. I am thankful for his help.

ETERNAL rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

I, too, echo all of the above. This is a sad loss to the teardrop community, as well as to his family. He was family on tnttt, too.

This is very saddening. I have watched most all of his videos like most. They are very informative but I mostly watched because of him. He was a great soul and will be very missed.

That dude was out there living the dream! Always pleasant and happy. On my short list for sure of guys I had hoped to cross paths with at some point.
