Doors…

Postby nsfr1206 » Sat Nov 12, 2022 5:16 pm

I’m wondering where to get doors from. I’m thinking to buy them premade for simplicity’s sake. My problem is I want a retro colored teardrop and not sure black doors are gonna look good. I was thinking cream with turquoise rims and shiny chrome moons on rims.
Can I paint the doors?

Can you run a spray gun? Bare aluminum needs to be acid etched first or primed with an acid etching primer.

Shelly rolled monstaliner bedliner over our Challenger cargo doors to better resist rocks. Looks great 3years later. She sanded to roughen the commercially painted aluminum surface but we don't remember priming.

Hi,
Door also comes in furniture accessories. According to you, which is the best wood for door? Can anyone tell me?

Furniture accessories? For a teardrop door? You use the same wood as the wood that's in your wall.
