Wow! The roof's on..FINALLY!!

Hello everyone! First, Happy Memorial Day! God Bless those who have served, and serve our country today. You all are a blessing!
On the Teardrop, I got the roof finished Friday. I took a "mental health day", a day off for no good reason, to get the roof cleaned up and sanded. The 'glass went on Saturday. I just finished a fill coat of epoxy today, after planting some flowers for hunnie.
I had moments when I wanted to hang it up, but I think that I got a good "bang for my buck".


The finish appears dull, because the texture of the 'glass is still exposed. It will smooth out under the fill coat, done today.
Earlier in the week, I worked out the galley. I'll get on that tommorrow, while the epoxy cures on the roof.
Looks like I'll make the mystic gathering with a useable camper!! \:D/
I'll post an update to my journal, Monday night.

I like the way you carried the inlays into your hatch Steve. But what about the front? I bet you thought about the hatch after you did the front. But what ever, it's looking real good and I can't wait to see the finished product.

Actually Gage, I did the hatch first, thought that the inlay sort of got "lost in the sauce", so I skipped it on the front. The stripping gets busy anyways. Thanx, Steve

That is the most unusual, most beautiful wood stripping job I have ever seen. The RV channel will be turning the country upside down looking for YOU!!! And you earned it! I expect to see that on the RV channel someday! It's beautiful.
