pet kool, real life experience?

Postby Arne » Sun Mar 13, 2005 6:31 pm

We have discussed the pet kool quite a bit. Has anyone taken it on the road yet and did a real life test?

I'm still wondering if the temperature sensor works well enough to consider it a good alternative to a hard mounted a/c unit?

OK guys
As soon as I get the tear done I will sleap in the driveway with the Petcool to check out how well it works.

Tomorrow I head off to the aluminum place and get my trailer back.

Put in the front cabinets and then give it all a try. All I have got to do is talk my wife into spending the night "driveway camping"

I STILL haven't got my tear on the road yet. But I do have it put together enough that I could give the Pet Cool a try. It cooled it right down in a test run. I am not sure just how user friendly I can make it. There is no remote control to adjust the temperature. It would be a pain to get out of bed to adjust. I'm trying to figure out how to put a thermistat inside the tear while the unit sits out on the ground.

I don't want to install the Pet Cool because most of my camping will be up in the northwest where air conditioning is not needed. I don't want to devote that much of my 4 foot wide to something I won't need most of the time.
