Eddie,

Thanks for the shots of the undermounted water tank. I will add one to my Hunter when it arrives. No way I will sacrifice a cabinet for a tank. Did you bias (mount at other than 0 degree angle relative to the horizontal) the tank at all for drainage?

From the images of the two tears, it looks like you are a journeyman teardrop builder. The hatch framework looks nicely crafted.

It's 6" in the rear and 7" in the front adds clearance for going over humps and driveways and also gives me full use of the tank. And being tapered adds a good look from behind.

I think if was you that identified http://www.plastic-mart.com/class.php?cat=11

They have some nice tapered designs and your implementation is right along with my thinking. The pictures are very helpful.

Thanks,

I'm jealous that you have two tears and I'm still working on my first one.
That looks like a great time at the Safeway!

Hey, the date says 3/12/05... so where's the snow???

Today was 40, changed the oil in the van. Tomorrow, the tear goes up on the ramps and I start to explore hanging the spare and putting a battery box unerneath...... your pictures give me hope.

btw, the spare on a h/f 1800 is the same diameter as the space between the x-members... looks tight, but doable.....
