need info 1952 Smoker Deluxe

Postby joeinthejungle » Thu Mar 17, 2005 6:59 pm

I have had a 1952 Smoker Deluxe trailer fall into my hands. I dont know much about it and it happens to be in the giant redwood forest near Santa Cruz California and I am in Nebraska. I havent seen it for years but it has been maintained by my Uncle who has just passed away.

Is quite small just a small living room and bedroom. Closet sized bath and kitchen. All the fixtures are art deco and it has hardwood floors.

Does anybody have any info or has any idea what its worth. and if there is anybody who would be interested. I will get photos when I go out there in April.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

We're all interested and would love to see photos. But not many in here could drive to california to pick it up even if it was free.

I did find this link on google: 1952 Smoker Queenetta 8 x 48 2 bdrm 1 bath
http://www.allmanufacturedhomes.com/html/1952_smoker_8x48.htm
This was the longest home manufactured in 1952.

I lived my first 5 years in a trailer that size, I can still vaugley remember it. My mom has pictures of it somewhere. I don't believe it was portable tho. I imagine it would be considered a travel trailer now-a-days tho.
