Here's a web site that has a lot of old plans to download for free. Anything from a Crossbow toWelding Gun. But today i read that he was going to shut down in 60 day's. check it out see if you can find anything you can build or dream about building.

I realize that most folks don't care, but I feel compelled to point out that this looks like yet another site that is violating--or at least ignoring--the copyright laws.

from what I can tell these are all old enough to be "public domain" now anyway.

A great source for plans for making your own shop equipment that you can buy for cheap is Dave Gingery at http://www.lindsaybks.com.

I have purchased his books before and he is the consumate miser. He is great for getting things done on the cheap. You bio-diesel fans may find his "fuel making" still interesting. D. Tillery
