Been feeling great this week (in spite of a fellow skipping out on the rent, stealing some things we lent them, and trashing the place to the tune of thousands of dollars damage and I have the place, after three weeks of effort nearly put back together!) and went "treasure hunting" today.
Score! It is a bit dirty but POIFECT (as Curly Joe would say) w/o even a minor chip or scratch. It even appears to have the original globe.
Here is a web site with one exactly like it. It's a 1948 with a nickel plated brass fount!

"This Model 220D, in Deems Burton's collection,
is almost like new and is dated B '48,
which we think means it was made in July-Dec of that year."
The fellow wanted $5 but I got it for $3 promising to give it a "good home".
I also got an old two burner coleman stove with a brass tank (slightly dented) and cast iron burners and stuff for $5 a while back. It's kinda rough but it fired right up.
My collection is growing but I rarely pay more than $3 to $5 for a lantern.
Cheers,
Gus
