Hello everyone!

Newbie here...

I'm looking for some exterior lights that I can install on the sides of my 6x14 cargo trailer to shine down onto the exterior walls to illuminate my vinyl graphic wrap.

I own a small business that deals with rock n roll venues and I'd love to park my trailer in front of a venue, after dark, and light up my trailer for advertising purposes.

Any ideas on how to shine light across the surface of an exterior wall???

No you don't. :no:

There are all kinds of outside lights available from RV stores and web sites. There are 12-vold lights and 110 lights. But I'm not sure RV lights will do what you want to do.

Most of us campers use lights that shine out onto seating areas or light our galleys. We don't think much about lighting up the sides of our campers.

I would think you would do better to get some freestanding lights to aim at the trailer.

I used 12v deck lights for my porch lights. They point downward so they will illuminate the sides of the tear somewhat while on. Just a suggestion...

why not a spot light that shines up at it that either runs of the trailer or an extension cord

12V linear LED. Only 8 watt draw. I have it hanging right along the side, you could wash the whole side if you put it on an arm and aimed it right. I wanted to light the ground so I've got it turned away from of the side a little.

I got it on eBay.

You may want something that will swing out or slide out from the undercarriage that run off a 12 volt battery, that you tuck back under for transport. LED lights do not draw a lot of current. Good luck with what every you decide to do. I will send you a pm. Welcome to the forum.

I have a bunch of Par 64 stage lights I'll sell ya. Old ones but they work just fine. At about 500 watts apiece they'll keep you warm too. I've got stands too, along with lighting controllers and dimmer packs...

Funny, I never even considered taking that stuff camping.

Big box stores have a great line of solar powered spot/floodlights this time of year. I use them to light up banners in front of my stores and they work well....until they get stolen....did I mention cheap to replace?
