Ran across this photo in a general search. I don't know who the owner is, and a random selection. Just wanted to share the creative talent, and inspiration for other builds here.



On another note, how would you seal this exterior with so many nooks and crevices?

not only is his scroll work neat but so is the sunset reflected in his window.

I like it!!! That's quite a canvas to scroll, even with a jigsaw. I, too, love the sunset.

How to seal it? Very carefully!!! And, don't leave it outside in the weather. I don't see any sealant that was used to cover the edges of the darker wood. There's nothing to keep the rain from going behind the darker wood.

If I was going to seal this I would marine epoxy the base and then all of the parts on all sides...

It does give me some interesting ideas of how you could do a similar effect using cut out vinyl to form a picture.
