Is this the door you're thinking of?

I got 2 from a member on here (cks-1), but they can also be found on ebay.

I think its technically called a drop-down feed window, as used in horse trailers and such.

Glad I could help! They're a bit pricey, but I think they're worth it. I don't have mine installed yet, but very soon!

I want to purchase this exact model, but wondering if there is a side to those door or if you can simply turn them upside down to make it left or right? any problem with this?

I need a odd size....20X30 to fit between the studs of my aluminum trailer... and wonder if i can simply order 2 drop-down feed door and simply put one upside down so i get a curbside and roadside? anything against it? leak? etc?

thank you!

would you mind to elaborate? what is different from one side to the other from flipping the door upside down?

is there and orientation where the door will leak in rain? something i would really like to know

thanks!

I converted one of these right hand opening doors to a left hand opener last summer. (the supplier only had right-handers in stock & sold me the second one cheaply because his stock wasn't moving). Anyway moving on.... there are drain holes in the bottom that need to be filled, and new ones created when the door is inverted. I also discovered the glass window, top I think, was not cut symmetrical & wouldn't fit properly so a new one was made. In addition the exterior seal strips were not able to be reused either, becuase of the corner cuts & sizing/lengths now being different . The change-over took a bit of work to acheive the desired result but it is acheivable with perseverance. I'm happy with mine & it don't leak!!
Remember though, you might get a door that is perfectly symetrical so your mod process will be marginally different. Good luck
