New folding table

Postby Woodbutcher » Sun Oct 30, 2011 5:37 pm

I just got this folding table off Ebay. It's light weight and folds up easily. I give it a thumbs up. Just thought I'd post the link if someone else could use a piece like this.

Very nice looking and good size. Does it seem like it can handle much weight?

We really know you just wanted the free food covers.......
nice looking table and looks like when folded it would fit into a small space.

Yea, it was the free stuff. :) It is pretty sturdy, but I would not put a loaded cooler on it. I will use it for my camp stove, and a place for my dish tubs below. Sometimes when no table is available an extra table is real handy.

I agree...even if there is a table on site, I always tote along a fold up one for cooking duties outdoors and nearer the trailer. I've got a vintage wooden sewing table for the Voyager and usually take a more modern plastic/steel legged one with the Nomad. That looks like a decent/lightweight table. Wonder how many old stoves and lanterns it will handle? Doug

Well Doug, not many. If I keep going even my extended van will not be big enough!

Lanterns don't take up so much space...but stoves...they are real estate hogs. I went to the Coleman thing here in No. Cal and fit my lanterns into 2 boxes....the stoves took up the entire bed area on the tear. The one you sent me however was a center piece and got rave reviews! Doug

Thanks Doug, don't be surprised if another stove is dropped by your door some day!

What are the dimensions of that table? I didn't see any size given on the link at ebay.

Went back to the ebay ad and sure enough, there are the dimensions printed out right there. Thanks Susann for posting the dimensions, I don't know how I failed to see that myself.

Guess its time to get off the computer and go clean the garage.

We carry 2 about that size and have found many
uses from extra counter space to a dining table.
These are much cheaper, but due offer 6 or so
different heights based depending on where you
snap in the legs.

These little tables have accompanied us from our very
1st outing in January of 08 and on every outing since.
I found them such a great camping fixture that I have
incorporated the bat wing tables into the last two builds
as a substitute.
Growing older but not up !
