Quality

Quality, excellence, class. I have always been fascinated with the best of what ever, i.e. a Stradivarius violin, and I am sure you can come up with various examples of your own.
I wanted to equip Compass Rose with a shower (external) and a gas port so that we can take the grill. The Thetford external shower fits in a 6X11 cut out and looks big ugly cludgy cheap looking and in a 10' trailer that was not something I wanted.
Yesterday I received the Bullfinch shower point and gas point from the UK and other than figuring out what a 15mm Whale connector is and actually finding two locally at West Marine (they are used on boats) I am getting all the bits and pieces to install.
So what started the rant? I am just plain impressed at the quality excellence class of these fixtures. If they were made by/for American RV parts suppliers you would be expected to put a bead of silicone around it to hopefully seal the water out. These have an O ring on the fitting itself and four little O rings that fit under the screws.

:applause:
Now those are really good looking!
Have been planning the same for our T@B and have had the shower fixture for a year but didn't like it enough to install it.
Thanks for the info!
