Camp Chef Stove/Oven at Costco

Postby Oldragbaggers » Sat Mar 17, 2012 5:11 pm

Yesterday I was in the Costco here in Baltimore and they had the Camp Chef stove and oven for $169.
If you have a Costco in your area, and you want one of these, I would hoof it over there fast because if they have them I'm sure they won't last long!!

Yes I've seen them but their in red with a flat grill accessory.

Too bad since I've bought 4 in the stainless which I like best for an aluminum clad teardrop.

They usually go for $20 less without the grill which I'd never use and the red color isn't my favorite.

Last night I ordered a stainless one from Dicks Sporting Goods.com for $119.93 ($80.06 savings) plus $21.11 shipping & $13.26 state tax for a grand total of $154.30. Costco was selling these in years past for $150 plus tax so this is an even better deal than before.

That's purty Danny. And a real good deal too. If I wanted an oven I'd be doing the same.

I saw those ovens at Costco and really wanted one but it won't fit in my galley. However, I found some nice little counter top ovens that would work perfectly. I was surprised to see that they aren't just toasters anymore but can also bake and broil. A Coleman gas grill and a nice Kitchenaid 12" counter top oven will set you back only $150 and might be more versatile space-wise for some.

A week ago Friday I stopped and asked a fellow if the derelict camper in his yard might have a stove/oven combo in it. He couldn't even remember so we went lookin'

Here is what I found he told me it was mine if I wanted it for free........ :D

I have one just like it in my '67 Aristocrat (except green). Seems to be a good unit except for one detail ... Watch out for the sharp edge between the cooktop and back trim. It has sliced my fingers more than once when wiping the top clean.
