my mattress is made from 14"x14" squares of foam packaging thrown away at work, got a 1.5" memory foam topper coming, should go in nice and easy. (see my WWW)
I bought a nice 10'X10' awning for camping, may get the screen sides for it. The sun is not your friend, neither is rain, birds, trees or bugs, I find the awning keeps all of them off, and seems to direct slight breezes toward me better.

I got my foam for the mattress from Joann when they add it on sale and i had a 50% off coupon then topped it with a mattress topper. the loft didnt get a topper and is a little short but that is ok. it was a remnant and only 3" thick while the main one is 4" thick and very comfy.

As far as teh side tents i dont have one i am however planning to put one a changing room and on my side a bathroom. I may do more just to make some shade. i got them today a mess of snaps so may make those the attachment points for the trailer.
