Been thinking about why people looking at a teardrop from the outside think it would feel clausterphobic is that they can see over the roof of the trailer. People feel more comfortable with a roof over thier head and if they are looking at something and they can see thier 5 foot 3 inch sister on the other side they are going to feel that its a small space. I look at my trailer and i think wow this is big for 4 feet tall and 5 wide and 10 long but i think i would feel different about it if it was not already 22 inches off the ground.

While not a coffin, my 4-wide is perfect for me, and not claustrophobic at all. I slept surprisingly well the night that I fell and had 5 stitches put in my knee by the ER. It was quiet and actually comforting to be in my own bed.

Cliff-It looks like Abby and the entire NCIS team would fit confortably in your beautiful teardrop. Nice job on the build. I enjoyed your detailed build journal.

Thanks Bill, haven't been on here much as I'm trying to have it campable by this Friday for a GA gathering! It may not be complete but we will be able to use it. My wife was in it cleaning up my construction debree and putting shelf liner in the cabinets and such, so I turned on the 12V system so she coud have some air and lights and all she could sa was how much room was in this one vs our 4x7. I think now we might be claustrobic if we go back to the small one :lol:/

Cliff
In God we trust, shoot the rest and he will sort out!
