Here in the Pacific Northwets, we are very dry. Scary dry. We have fires burning and it all depends on which way the wind blows as to whether we get smoked out or not. There was frost on my windshield this morning, but the tomato plant survived. I have actually picked 4 ripe ones which brings their cost down to 50 cents apiece.

Other than that, we are enjoying the sunny weather because we know what is coming, and we need to make up for last year, the year without summer.

The weather experts think we will have a woosie El Nino then it will turn into an El Nada or should it be La Nada? Basta!

Yup.... Spose to get 6" of the white stuff with high winds. The fun part is raining all day turning to snow and you know what happens with the first snow. I'm staying put tomorrow.

YEP, In Custer, South Dakota. It was 80's yesterday and a windy 40's today with temps going to about 25 tonight.

No snow predicted for my imediate area but temps this weekend predicted uppers 20s for a low and mid to upper 50s for a high. I'm taking the nephew to a soap box derby ralley this weekend, taking the teardrop as I can't afford $100 a night for a hotel. Will be setting a new record(for me anyway)for the low temperature camping in the teardrop.

Thats why I live in the south.. High today is 81 and sunny.. It is starting to get cold at night though. Anything below 70s and I'm un happy..

Slo, I saw the weather a day or two ago and it looked like your ranch was ground zero for a monster truckload of cold. Do you have all your firewood in for the winter?

Right now we are mid 80s in the early afternoon; probably will hit 90 by 4 pm.
Yup, the big shiver is coming on Sunday with a high of only 67. Time to get the fleece jackets out of winter clothes storage.

40 something right now and loving it. After a summer of record 90's and being hot hot hot too hot I am loving it. My husband and my daughter think I am crazy.

keeps bumping back into the 70's up here, can't wait to blow two years of dust off my cross country skis, last "winter" was a bust, one good storm for Halloween, and one good storm in march, that was it.
the ice fisherman had to deal with large areas of open water on almost every lake, one of the biggest fishing derbys near here was canceled due to lack of ice, as in there was none, when they normally are driving trucks on the ice

I'm with slow don't like cold and snow, but it is needed. Had a very mild winter last year, and now a very dry summer. Hopefully I can pry my butt off of the couch and bundle up enough to get out to the garage to work on projects.

Nope. It's been really nice almost too nice here in Albuquerque. At least until the the ballon fiesta starts then It will be raining, hailing and too windy for balloon launches. But untill then I'm enjoying the 45 degree mornings and 82 degree afternoons.

Yep!

80 degrees yesterday.

48 today, cloudy, and about an inch and a half of rain so far. Gonna get our first frost tomorrow.

I love fall. Had way too much of summer this year.
