went and bought our new car and can't drive it home :( my insurance agent told me they can't add anything to any policy until the storm is done. If I'm lucky I can drive it home on wed. after work. Good thing we didn't take the old car to the scrap yard on the way to the dealer like we planned.
so far on the north shore of MA the power is on just rain and wind, plenty of people around here without power and trees down everywhere.

All is over, the Eye of the storm came right over my house, just south of Philadelphia, PA. and myself and my neighborhood sustained very little, if any damage.

The power stayed on, the pumps kept pumpin....it was not much more (Here) than a bad Summer Rain Storm.

Just a little yard work.

Thanks for the concerns.

Happy Trails

I awoke to about 1/2 inch of snow outback on the deck I haven't looked out front yet.
wind howled all night the ol' house is popping and cracking so it must be cold out.
I saw where 16 were killed 2 when a tree limb fell on their car; counting the 60 plus in other countries
that's one to many. be safe look out for each other.

Be careful. Something other than downed powerlines are the limbs hung up in trees. Look up before you start cleanup. We call them widowmakers, and there is a good reason for that. The snow, if it is heavy, is going to break more limbs off. That CRAAAAACK noise is distinct and scary.

I read where our storm will help to push Sandy away, when it arrives.

Take care!
