New Acquisition

Got a 1973 VW Vanagon today.
Looking at it as a body donor for a TD project.
Possabilities????

PS Also acquired a Bonair popup tent trailer.

Wife says I need another project like I need a hole in the head!

I expect it would be heavy and tongue heavy with the normal wheel placement, but with the right TV anything is possible

My thoughts exactly! except for the tandem axle.
Last night while enjoying some cold beverages with my car friends. I drew the Vanogan on a piece of paper....and then with a little carefull folding, turned it into a cute little teardrop that VW lovers would drool over.
But, this is a project I woiuld have to build for someone else as Sandi says I too many other personal projects already.

Wish I could afford and find a Vanagon but I want it as a hippie type grandma mobile.
Sounds like a fun project.

The guy I got this one from had two. The other one is a running one in good shape. His plan is to come back for it next summer.
But, right now he is selling everything to facilitate his move back to Quebec.
You might be able toi fly out and drive it back before winter sets in, you might be able to talk him io selling it????
It was beautiful hear today....great day for doing yard work.
