After playing around with Windoze 8 it looks like they have created a modern ME. I sure hope I can keep an older computer going until this crappy operating system has been forgotten.

Do not click it!!!!!!!!! There is nothing there for you but pain.....
Just access browser app (create icon on desktop) and let browser go to internet....

This might be an option at home. It doesn't work in a wifi-dense environment.

Just right-click it and use the network and sharing window to select a network.

The computer, Dell XPS 12, is fast as all get out.

But the Dell XPS12 doesn't have a parallel port. How are you driving your CNC router?

Got a five year old Dell tower with XP for that. :D I got this baby to run Vectrics Aspire. Man is it quick!
After running the Dell mini for so long, this thing is quite the eye opener...

For all they do, what they are really trying to do is get you to go to a sight to spend more money. Just a big shinny wallet vac.

Only reason I keep my old system (XP) purring alone is because all the new bells and whistles do nothing to make my computer experience better... Its the applications that are important, and with each new iteration of windows I loose something, Windows 7 or 8 neither support my TV tuner card which I use almost daily to run certain "tv" shows on second screen (yes I run dual screens) ... Muckysoft seems to forget new is not always better..... IF Unix/Linux was a little more polished I think I would kiss Windows good-bye.... I'm really surprised that GOOGLE has not come out with a PC version of Android....

I use Linux Mint on a tower... but the biggest problem I have is that it won't run my wintel apps. I use Firefox and Thunderbird, and Mint handles that just fine. But I go to use my compiler, or CAD application, and I have to fall back to Windows.
